Hard to find a restaurant that has more than one vegetarian/vegan item on the menu. Philly's has probably half the menu. Wonderfully tasty. I got the eggplant flatbread and my husband got the cannoli bean salad. Both were fantastic. We arrived at 4:45 on a Saturday evening. Opens at 5:00. We were the second in line. By 5:30 it was full with a line. But, this was "in season". Highly recommend.

Second time we've ate here and hands down the pulled pork is YUM! Both times I've gotten it, and hubby (who forgets and gets a burger) ends up wishing he'd have gotten it too. Beet and farro salad was excellent as well. The burgers seem a bit greasy - like the bottom bun is saturated - but the meat is definitely not dry, so maybe that's why it was voted "best"?

Beyond fabulous Philly Cheese Steak and the Caesar salad was epic :). Highly recommend. Staff was friendly & fabulous :)

Word of mouth brought me to Philly Grille -- and it's food, waitstaff and ambiance will bring me back again and again. Earlier in the week I dined-in, enjoying their delicious "Downtown" (a grilled Capicola flatbread number with a side of their house chips). The sights and smells of several other creations coming out of their kitchen, however, made me soon realize that this place has a ton of potential. Great looking food with nice presentation at an attractive price point. The menu touts it's, "Voted Best Burger of 2011", but with the name "Philly Grille" there is simply no room for messing around with burgers, IMO. That's right: I'd need to have one of their steaks and then -- come what may -- Yelp about it. Confirmation came this evening at dinnertime when I popped-in to grab a steak (Whiz / Wit / Peppers on the side) to enjoy at home. WOW!!! It was one of the best steaks I've eaten south of Wharton and Passyunk. And I was in-and-out in under 5 minutes -- try to match that at the aforementioned, "Corner of Brotherly Love"! Now it's a little tricky to spot from Collier Avenue, so let me throw out a helpful hint: it sits in a tiny strip of stores that is right next to Sunshine Booksellers (which is much easier to see from the road.) But mark my words: if they keep putting down food like this, the owners may choose to change locations! Definitely put this one on the A-List for delicious, no-nonsense, dine-in or take out sammys for lunch or dinner. My hunch is that uniformity of these Yelps don't lie.

Fast, friendly and amazing service! We were in and out within 30 min and not once did we feel rushed. My husband whom I consider a plant who needs constant watering (drinks a lot of fluids) never, not once got over halfway empty on his coke. No easy task! I ordered the veg flatbread. So good! Had shaved cheese on it, with a nice crispy and chewy crust. He ordered the lobster roll, the lobster meat was plentiful and fresh. He had to take careful bites because all of that meat threatened to topple over! All and all an amazing experience and we will definitely come again and share with friends and family.

Coming from Philly to visit the family, I'm always extremely skeptical when I see a place boasting that they make authentic "Philly" food. The final product always falls miserably short. However, this wasn't the case here. One the the better cheesesteaks I've ever had! The owners migrated from the Philly area, and they've definitely brought their home flavors with them. Great job, guys! I'll be back!

Get selection of sandwiches and flat breads. The Philly steak sandwich is tops. Salads a food too. Overall, a great place to have dinner. Would go again.

This place has burgers, philly cheesesteaks, flat breads, sandwiches, wraps, etc. There is easily a line during the more busy hours, but service is great and the food is good. Price point is a little inflated but not bad for Marco Island, I guess (expect to spend at least $13 pp). You can tell that they use fresh ingredients. Atmosphere is a bit loud and a tad bit crowded - my boyfriend and I were seated right next to the kitchen window. Nevertheless, good food and a pretty good variety as well.

Went for dinner, along with a group of 9 other friends and family members, at Philly Grille on Sunday night. The guys had gone out fishing most of the day Sunday and they caught a few groupers, so they gave the restaurant their fresh catch for the chef to prepare for us. **Never did I expect to be in for such. a. treat.!** The whole dinner was perfect. We were greated and served with simplicity yet with great care and attention. The table was set very simply and the dishes were served "à la bonne franquette"; the meal was put on the table in large serving dishes so we could help ourselves, just like a copious Sunday dinner prepared and shared at home. Now to the meal... We were served such a scrumptious feast! - a couple salads (the classics caesar and mixed garden with balsamic vinegar and olive oil) - both delicious; - a couple simple penne rigate dishes (garlic butter/oil, as well as marinara) - both good; - a baking dish full of Parmesan potato wedges - great although I only had a few since the fish was so great (details below), - and the plats de résistance: the fish! prepared 4 different ways... So amazing, the description needs its own paragraph. ;-) So here goes it. We first received the *French lemon* fish. Served in a baking dish with its lemony butter sauce, the fish had a light taste of lemon; cooked just right, both its taste and texture were smooth... t'was just... succulent. 6*/7 (Ok, paragraphS.) The second dish we received was another classic: *beer battered fried fish*. I was SO looking forward to this one (I mean, I have a certain affinity for anything fried! - except ice cream). This "fish and chips" was quite good, but I thought the batter was a slight bit too thick (though not dense) and not crispy enough... in its defence, I must admit, my expectations were a bit up there for this one. 4.5*/7 Thirdly, I tasted a second fish which seemed oven baked (just like the French lemon)... there is no name per se for this one... but I've decided to go ahead and christen it: *the fish dish from heaven*. Found in the baking dish's buttery sauce, besides the grouper, were: rosemary, tomatoes, artichoke hearts (swoon) and peeled red bell pepper strips. This plate cannot be described... without taking away any of its godly qualities. The grouper and vegetables (the artichoke hearts especially), everyone seemed to agree, melted it your mouth. (My mum used to say that "Try it, it melts in your mouth!" when we were kids and weren't so keen to try a new/weird dish she'd prepared, and we kind of caught on to her subterfuge early on, but only this week at Philly Grille did I experience the very true definition of the idiom.) Taste. Texture. Mixed with vegetables and the rosemary... Ottimo... *Beyong amazing*. 8*/7! Lastly, I had a small piece of the last fish dish we received: *filet'd grouper cooked in a mild red pepper sauce à la marinara*. As I am not a fan of cooked red peppers (I find the taste more often than not overpowers the dish), and because the fish pieces weren't as chunky and fatty as the previous 3, this is the version I preferred the least. 4*/7 For dessert, I had a few more pieces of that rosemary, tomato, artichoke and red pepper grouper, as well as a piece of almond flavored ricotta cheesecake. ;-) The cheesecake was lighter (fluffier) than the one I'm used to (made with Philly cheese) and the few drop of almond extract gave it an extra humph. Delish! If you're just back from the sea with some fresh catch of the day, Philly Grille is where you should go for dinner with familly and friends on Marco Island. PS. I've also heard they make a mean burger. With this first top-notch experience, I'm bound to come back and try their regular menu.

Ordered from the taco Tuesday menu, did not get to taste the Philly cheesesteak...unfortunately. We had fish tacos and fajitas and they were delicious. We also had the sangria which was also awesome. Ambiance 10.0 Food 10.0 and service 10.0 Loved it

Great Summer specials like Taco Tuesday or Wine Wednesday that will keep you stuffed and coming back for more. The staff is attentive and really nice and actually like having a nice conversation with you! It's a quaint restaurant in a strip mall, you might miss it if you don't look hard enough, but it's well worth the find! Everyone was ordering the Philly cheesesteak and it looked very delicious, but I chose the wine special with the eggplant and spaghetti, delicious salad and bread included. Overall a great deal on the island. Must try!

Best lobster rolls! Friendly service. Small restaurant in a random location on the island, but the food is worth it.

  • Chelsea D.

Tiny place hidden in a small shopping center. I went with my bf's family, all from South Jersey, and the Philly decor had them feeling right at home. Food was decent! Try their flatbreads! Very filling and delicious

Second time here. Still love it! Best dinner we had on Marco island. We're from NY so we have high expectations. This place met and exceeded them. Service was amazing too. We went with our 7 year old and 3 year old and the waitress was incredibly accommodating. We'll def come back when we're here for our next vacation.

  • Teri B.

Loved this place and it's still ok but not what it used to be. Really disappointed in the food this time. It was the best on the island for a quick reasonable bite. Now it's the. Meh it's ok place that's a bit over priced. Shame. Was really good new owners are not doing what the old owners did that's for sure.

Very mediocre food, disappointed because of all the good reviews. It wasn't anything special.

So here we are my husband and I on lovely Marco Island and as we peruse the local restaurants, we see the Philly Grille. As proud Philadelphians, we could not resist. I started with the side Caesar salad, which was delish! Many husband got the burger. They grind the meat themselves. It was a combination of several beef cuts including sirloin. He said the burger was flavorful and one of the best he had in a long time. Please bear in mind my honey is a purist, no condiments, just some bacon, so the burger's flavor was center stage. I had the sandwich with sausage, peppers and onions. It was yummy. All in all it was a very good meal. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The prices were reasonable. Give them a try, you won't regret it!!

  • Tom S.

Nice little local place hidden in a strip center to the back. Both inside and outside seating, inside is very nice with photos over the walls. About 13 inside tables based on how they are put together. Everything is cooked fresh, we both got Steak Sandwiches that came with chips and sub out Fries on one. Everything was good. We didn't get the flat bread, but almost everyone else in the place ordered one or more for the table, so I would suggest trying it.

  • Jeff K.

I used to remark how crappy the food was on Marco. I'll tell you, I have found a few restaurants this trip that make me WANT to return. Philly Grille is one of them and is a must dine on the island. Side of meatballs, wedges with gorgonzola, bacon and red onion... to die for. Veal Parm Sandwich, 1/2 rack of ribs, mashed and vegetable du jour. Dinner starts at 5 and while it gets busy (great take out too) the table turn is quick. Worth the trip and the best wait staff on Marco.

    (5)
  • Kristi M.

Ordered the Philly cheesesteak flatbread and it was delicious. The wedge fries with bacon & Gorgonzola was great. The kids had Mac n cheese. Ate it all and wanted more. Definitely will come back on our next trip to Marco Island.

Boy, do Marco Islanders love their Italian food! We were looking for a moderately priced dinner place and couldn't decide between a burger/sandwich joint or a dinner. We found both at the Philly Grille. Excellent flatbread with mild sausage, fresh red peppers and onions. Great eggplant parmigiana-slices were lightly breaded, sautéed to a nice crispness then finished with mozzarella and a really nice marinara. Penne with marinara came on the side. Generous wine pour. Negatives: shouldn't have to pay $5 for a loaf of garlic bread when I just wanted a piece to eat with my $22 dinner. For that, a small little house salad would be a nice touch. And the restaurant is pretty tiny place for dinner. All in all, great food affordable prices. We'll be back to try the namesake Philly Cheesesteak and a burger. Heard they're both great. Buon Appetito!

Who knew you could get a fabulous cheesesteak on Marco Island? Fantastic food and their fries are handmade and delicious!

    (5)
  • Callie B.

No wait. Service was okay. I got the philly steak sandwich, which was very good and filling. The prices are kinda expensive. $13 for a steak sandwich and some chips..

  • Patrick M.

I had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. It was good. The Caesar's salad was excellent. It was busy when we arrived but were lucky to get the last open available table as the dinner crowd began to arrive. The kids had Mac and cheese but did not like it as much as expected. Overall, the food was pretty good. I recommend trying on your visit to Marco Island.

Delicious fresh food at a very reasonable price. Try the grilled flat bread - delicious. Would recommend going here.

Fantastic food and even better people! Showed up 10 minutes before closing and talked to one of the owners Lisa. Got a to go order and talked about Philly and she gave us a sample of the sweet potato wedges! A must go

  • Brett C.

We found this place to be quite good. I had the prime rib philly cheesesteak and the wife had the lobster BLT. The cheesesteak was extremely tender and delicious. The wife liked her lobster BLT a lot. They get their lobster from Maine. They also served homemade potato chips. ***** (5 Stars)- Amazing, zero flaws, a must go! (Not given often) **** (4 Stars)- Memorable, strongly feel you should visit *** (3 Stars)- Above average, worth a visit ** (2 Stars)- Average, some pro's and some con's * (1 Star)- Opinion is do not go, below average

Had heard great things about Guy & Lisa's Philly Grille (specifically their burgers) and had to give it a try. Decided to order take out after an early round of golf, and glad I did. I ordered a burger cooked medium with fried egg, bacon, american cheese and roaster peppers. Soooooo good. Only regret is they had a limited selection of cheeses (no pepperjack). The burger itself was very filling, could have easily split it with someone else. Just had the house made chips that it comes with which were good. Worth trying if you're in Marco Island.

Atmosphere extremely comfortable. Service was outstanding . Food was excellent. For what they do, flat breads and sandwiches, they fit their nitch perfectly. My 9year old son was treated like a king. He had the build your own burger. It was juicy and tasted perfectly. My husband had the philly, no complaints there. Our friend had the lobster roll. He was far from disappointed. There was so much lobster in in that roll there literally was no room for any more! Don't get me wrong, I was extremely happy with my turkey Waldorf. But after seeing my friend's lobster roll made me question my choice of salad. Made me think I should have gone with the lobster salad. (Next time!)

Philly Grill is so well managed that the wait for a table is short even on the busy days. The menu is full of good choices and after three visits to this great restaurant I am still anxious to taste some of the menu items I haven't had the chance to order yet.

  • Ivonne G.

Wow..This place is really one of the best restaurants in this small city. The food was nothing but spectacular. I ordered the panzenella salad which was AMAZING! The balsamic vinaigrette was absolutely delicious and for take out the presentation was still great. My husband and father ordered the bbq pulled pork sandwich which they both raved about and my mother who is always is so complicated when it comes to food ordered the smoked salmon flat bread..for the first time she had zero complaints..which is hard to believe. I will definitely be ordering another salad before I leave back home..yum!

  • John R.

A great place where the food is great and the service is fantastic. The burger really is one of the best I have ever had with a fried egg, bacon and onion jam. Wife had the lobster blt which was great too...we split both items. We will be back!

One gluten-free diner & two sandwich lovers found a truce here. I am highly, highly allergic to wheat and so I was very concerned about the availability and cross-contamination when ordering a gluten-free pizza with their flatbread toppings. The "simply veg" flatbread toppings arrived on a pre-bought gluten free pizza. The pizza was crispy and satisfying, but the real kicker is the flavor -- perfect. The fresh basil, mozzarella, and olive oil drizzle mingled perfectly. It was refreshing and filling, with enough for leftovers. Most importantly, the waitress triple-underlined "gluten" and assured me the chefs were very careful when it came to food allergies. I didn't experience any ill effects. My companions ordered the eggplant sandwich and philly steak sandwich They praised the tenderness of the steak and would order (and later did!) both again. We returned another night. I ordered the "Philly" flatbread on gf pizza. Oh. My. God. Amazing. Imagine piles of steak (probably the equivalent of two sandwich fillings) piled on top of grilled onions. I substituted fresh mozzarella for the standard cheese whiz (ew) which was a great decision (no extra charge). I seriously think that has been the best gluten free meal I have had on Marco Island. The owners, Lisa and Guy, are very visible on staff. They clearly like to build a relationship with customers and that, along with great, casual food, keeps people coming back. The bus staff were stellar in weaving around tables and in particular the man who was in charge of bussing and refilling water (an older gentleman with dark hair) hustled hard to keep our glasses full. It was much appreciated. Good service counts. We'll be back, I'm sure. Thanks for a great gf-friendly meal! (Maybe consider stocking rolls for sandwiches?) P.s. I did not inquire about the gluten status of the 'sausage crumbles' common on the flatbreads, so I would be careful and order without, or double check.

Pretty rare to find s place that has Wiz on there steaks, as a Philly native I can say that the food was authentic as it gets. Steak was great with wiz and fried onions, cos err great too! Wife had the eggplant sub, very tasty, would go back when we are in town again

  • Bruce S.

Nice little restaurant with a different menu than most Marco places. Good Phila cheesesteak. Lobster salad great. Sweet potato fries were excellent. Service and Lisa (owner)were A+ Only thing missing on the menu were the cheese fries but the sweet potato fries were a better treat Bruce from UPENN

  • Sharleen M.

The food was amazing!! The Philly Sandwich, Philly Flat bread and the Adriatic Flat bread were delish!

    (5)
  • Chuck G.

Good service, good food, good portions, reasonable prices, varied menu. Salads, sandwiches, burgers, mildly exotic dishes, too. Good sweet potato fries, and my potato wedges were piping hot. Friendly, hard-working staff. Vegetarian and non-veggie offerings were tasty. Behind the Radio Shack store, across the street from Publix. Not a big place, but we called ahead for a group of six and they took care of us right away. Popular with locals. They made decaf coffee fresh as ordered. We'll go back.

  • Etienne A.

Guy (the creative chef) and Lisa (the iron fist in a very pretty velvet glove) run this smallish gem tucked in a non-descript strip center. No better flatbread exists anywhere south of Philadelphia. The Philly flatbread is our favorite -- great for sharing after a bowl of some special soup Guy made that day. Guy applies his creative skills to an ever-changing array of specials: anything Bolognese, beef stew, pork loin, linguine with a variety of ingredients. Clearly Marco Island's most inventive chef. Simple Philly-themed atmosphere, very reasonable prices. No hard liquor but a refreshing, tight wine list (we love the Australian varietals). Small outdoor seating area when it's a nice evening. Really friendly and efficient wait-staff. Consistently delicious. In season, you're going to have to wait for a table. It's worth waiting.

This place was perfect for my family because we were looking for a casual sit-down restaurant with good food. The Philly Grille had a comfy feel to it. After a hard choice between the burger and a flatbread, I chose to get a burger. The burger was good, but I wish I got a flatbread. My parents' flatbreads were devious, a pizza that was about a foot long and 3 inches in width. If you come here, you will defiantly enjoy!

    (5)
  • Melissa H.

This place was off the charts!!! We only went there for dinner because of all the other reviews. And they were not kidding about the food. We are going back tomorrow for lunch. We got the flatbread pizza the cheesesteak one was divine!!' And the Maggie was a great contrast with fresh mozzarella tomatoes and garlic. The service Was warm friendly and attentive, whatever you do GO!!!!

We had such a teriffic meal here!! My son L-O-V-E-D the prime rib steak sandwich and the Panzenella Salad was sensational!! I wish were were in the area longer so we could eat there again!!

  • Lindsey H.

I got the burger & it was DELICIOUS! We also got Eggplant Parmesan (it was good but have had better) & the Philly Steak Sandwich was good too. Only real negative thing is how small the dining area is. And you'll more than likely have to wait. But all in all, good service & a GREAT burger. I def recommend going as close to open as possible.

Did we go to a whole different place than these other reviewers? Tonight's dinner with my group of 6 left a LOT to be desired. I'm honestly embarrassed that I recommended this restaurant based on the reviews. Service was truly atrocious. We waited 20 minutes for a table and when one came open, the hostess seriously pointed to it rather than taking us there. We waited a solid five or so minutes before anyone came to our table to offer drinks. When we asked about beer, our server said "there's a list on the wine list" but our table hadn't been given a wine list. She disappeared for several more minutes to find one. As far as food, the flatbreads were pretty good, but my Asian salad was tasteless and uninspired. My husbands grouper special didn't look good at all. Disappointing. GLUTEN FREE review: We were told that the chef "sometimes" has gluten free flatbreads but he was out tonight. The server did nothing to suggest other gluten free options. When our gluten free guest's salad arrived, it had pita bread on it. This restaurant is not GF-friendly at all. None of us would go back here. Really disappointing experience.

I eat here often. We eat in & take out. I think this is one of our best casual restaurants on Marco. I have tried just about everything on the menu. I would recommend everything. Give it a try and I hope you enjoy.

I had the Adriatic Flatbread. If you love olive tapenade and goat cheese, this is for you! I was a liitle concerned that the flatbread wouldnt be enough food, so i ordered a caesar salad, ended up only eating half of flatbread. lol Service was fine, the owner was very sweet. Was the only place that asked for my ID (my credit cards says to do so) since i've been here for a week!I was pleasantly surprised.

Short review: Excellent food and service! Vegetarian friendly. Long Review: I finally found a restaurant on Marco that I want to go back to. For an appetizer we tried the Eggplant Salad. It was delicious and big enough for the four of us to split.I could order this as my meal, it was a generous portion. For my entree I chose the Rustic. This was a fried eggplant flatbread with fresh mozzarella greens and tomato. Very good! My wife enjoyed hers but can't remember what it was called. It was another vegetarian flatbread sandwich with kalamata olives. She loved it. My father-in-law chose the Philly Cheesesteak. I did not try it being a vegetarian but he said it was good. It looked pretty authentic to the Philly style. My only criticism look wise was that the onions were cut too thick. Service was tremendous. A waitress was at our table in no time after being seated to take drink orders and to see if there were any questions. Not 30 seconds after she left another waitress came to take our drink order. We explained that a waitress was already there for us. This was the ONLY hiccup in service and if this is your only problem you must be doing something right! The bus boys were there to fill waters and take plates as needed. Very prompt, professional and polite. The hostess was nice too. The restaurant was also clean and tidy. Five stars all the way. We went for lunch and it was crowded. This place is a bright spot on an island with many forgettable restaurants!

Great REAL Philly Cheesesteak in Marco! Wiz-wit... the only way to go for the purist. And the great rolls truly make the hoagie. Well done indeed!

So.. Where to begin? Well lets start on a positive note, when the waitress was caught up enough to take my order, she was very pleasant and a joy to talk with. Lets just say the owner could learn allot from his employees. So.. Back to the reason we are here.. Food! I know how busy a kitchen can get and how easy it is to become distracted, but that being said, It is a sandwich shop. How bad can you mess up a cheesesteak? This place came up with ways I didn't know were possible. I ordered my sandwich 'With' (grilled onions) and the waitress noticed that they were omitted by the owner grill guy.. So he promptly put some onions from the steam table on top of the sandwich. Meh.. if that was the only thing 'Bad' about this experience I would have been happy. The meat looked like it was from one of those Wal-Mart 'kits' or even possibly one of them red Boxes of Steak-Ums or something.. The grease was the only thing that was the correct temp.. to bad it wasn't hot enough to melt the cheese.. The mayo came on the side and was impossible to put on the Amoroso's (?) roll, which would have been good IF it was not soggy from the steakum grease.. The 'House' chips were seasoned with some pepper mixture that I couldn't get off.. Luckily it was not on all of them. But the ones it was not on were covered in the rapidly cooling Steak-um grease and eventually stuck to the plate.. The Ice Tea was so bitter that I politely refused a refill.. My son however did ask for a refill of his Sprite and it got topped off with ice water (That was actually the Hi-lite Of the Meal).. Bottom line.. If your from Philly and want a taste of 'Back Home' food.. Hit Subway up and save yourself the headache and disappointment.. And a Few $$ as well because at $13 for a small Cheese Steak, this place is not worth the trip.. I wanted to suggest to the Cocky Owner / Grill guy as he sat on the window sill telling me how I was wrong about his cold onions, that he should change the name of the place to the Jersey Grille.. Cuz this place is garbage!!

Love this place. The Philly sandwich is a don't miss, and hubby's burger was excellent. My kiddo ate all of his buttered noodles, and he never eats all of anything. Everything was fresh and delicious. If you like spicy, ask for some of their homemade peppers. Our server Alex was outstanding.

What a pleasure! A new restaurant on the scene without wall-to-wall TVs barking at you. No flashing billboards everywhere you look. Only a nicely decorated place with a good vibe and nice, fresh food, with a slight Italian tilt. Good people too. Give it a try.

  • S J.

Went there tonight had the Philly Cheese Steak. It was very greasy. Looked like only a little meat,as matter of fact it looked like all onions on one half. I asked if that was the norm I was told they weigh the meat so it must've not been evenly distributed on the two halfs of the bread. The chips that apparently they make we're not at all warm as we were told. They put Parmesan cheese on their chips, potato wedges and sweet Potatoes too. I can tell you why people like it you can get some decent food like salmon, decent hamburger etc.. And pay under $20 instead of a lot of other restaurants in Marco Island we you are going to spend between $25 -$50 for a meal. Very small restaurant. I would say it's the wealthy persons McD's obviously better food then McD's. The majority of people were dressed very nice not in beach wear at all.

We had an excellent dinner of their eggplant salad and the Adriatic flat bread. What really cap off the evening was the owner, Lisa, came by and thanked us for visiting her restaurant. This is a very special place for a quite lite dinner. We sat outside and enjoyed the warm evening in comfortable seats. Check them out when in Marco.

Excellent food. I took my family because if the previous reviews and it was dead on. The whole family loved their individual meals.

Outstanding restaurant. Excellent food and even better service. Went there two days in a row and still could not get enough. Can't wait to go back again next year. The flatbreads were outstanding and the hamburger was one of the best I have had. No matter what you order, you won't be disappointed.

Hungry? Go here. I was initially attracted to this restaurant because they advertised vegetarian and vegan offerings, and as a vegetarian, I'm never quite sure what I'll find on vacation. I must say -- this place was a real gem. I had a wonderful flatbread with brie, onions and apples that was SO good, and my boyfriend enjoyed a Philly sandwich. The staff was incredibly friendly and offered recommendations on other places to visit while we were in the area.

The best food on Marco Island by far!! We are a difficult crowd to please- we have 4 kids and we recently moved from NYC to Miami and were on vacation on Marco Island. The owners pay great attention to detail. The Uptown flatbread was terrific and so was the Cannellini salad. The open faced reuben was excellent as well. Everyone was great to our kids and the service was great. If you want to try the daily specials make sure you get there early, both times we ate at the Philly grille most of the specials had sold out. If you are not going to the restaurant with a child- go find one!! The macaroni and cheese is homemade and delicious. You must check out this restuarant. We will definitely come back next time we are on Marco Island, we may even drive back just for dinner!!

This is a great casual restaurant. It's small and unpretentious but the food is wonderful. Their "beach burger" is the best on Marco Island, and tonight my husband and I each had a flat bread. He had the Downtown, and I had the Uptown. Mine was creative and de-lish! The staff is friendly, too. The only downside: no desserts are offered. Oh, and there's only beer and wine, no drinks. Bots that's okay with us. We've been here 3 times in 3 weeks.

Really good food! Our water was always full, and we didn't have to wait for anything. I had the PP&E, my husband had the "maggie" flatbread, both were really good! The waitress was friendly and gave excellent recommendations. I will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

Went to Philly Grille last night. What's perfect experience! The service was terrific, Andrea was our server and did a great job. We had salads and flatbreads. Good size portions and the ingredients were so fresh! The owners, Guy and Lisa talk to their customers and make them feel right at home. If you come to Marco, give the a try!

A great place where the food is great and the service is fantastic. The burger really is one of the best I have ever had with a fried egg, bacon and onion jam. Wife had the lobster blt which was great too...we split both items. We will be back!

Nice little restaurant with a different menu than most Marco places. Good Phila cheesesteak. Lobster salad great. Sweet potato fries were excellent.

Must try!

Second time here. Still love it! Best dinner we had on Marco island. We're from NY so we have high expectations. This place met and exceeded them. Service was amazing too. Loved this place and it's still ok but not what it used to be. Really disappointed in the food this time. It was the best on the island for a quick reasonable bite. Now it's the. Meh it's ok place that's a bit over priced. Shame. Was really good new owners are not doing what the old owners did that's for sure.

Good service, good food, good portions, reasonable prices, varied menu. Salads, sandwiches, burgers, mildly exotic dishes, too. Good sweet potato fries, and my potato wedges were piping hot. Friendly, hard-working staff. Vegetarian and non-veggie offerings were tasty. Behind the Radio Shack store, across the street from Publix. Not a big place, but we called ahead for a group of six and they took care of us right away. Popular with locals. They made decaf coffee fresh as ordered. We'll go back.

Very good local restaurant. Came herewith the family and the food was really tasty. Burger and flat bread were awesome! Kids meals were homemade, not the box junk you get at most places.

I always order a side of the homemade balsamic drizzle for dipping the sweet potato fries.

I was glad to find this place nearby to where I was working. They have a nice menu, and the entire staff is very friendly. I had the turkey Waldorf salad, and it was perfect.

Great REAL Philly Cheesesteak in Marco! Wiz-wit... the only way to go for the purist. And the great rolls truly make the hoagie. Well done indeed!

A new favorite! Amazing flatbreads and friendly service. You'll have a bot of a wait at times, but it's totally worth it.
